20 years of the School of Production Engineering; leaving a mark with great professionals
On November 22 in the general auditorium of the University of Azuay, the Solemn Session was held for the twentieth anniversary of the School of Production Engineering. The event was attended by authorities, teachers and students from our university community.
At the beginning of the event, our rector Francisco Salgado addressed the audience mentioning that this date is extremely important, because it remembers hundreds of people who were involved from the dream of having this race, its beginning and throughout the training of several production engineers.
Likewise, Andrés López, dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, pointed out in his speech that the aforementioned career has been characterized by serving society, through the training of professionals with solid bases of technical knowledge, but also with ethical training. and humanist.
This meeting featured a musical performance by our band “Blue Beats” and at the end all the guests went to the Tower Café to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the School of Production Engineering.
