Know the steps to enroll in the UDA

The University of Azuay has started its admission process for the next semester. It should be noted that there are two different admission processes: one for the Medicine career and another for the rest of the careers. 

Before entering the steps to apply, it must be emphasized that the UDA offers a new model that is a master's degree after finishing the degree (4+1 profession + mastery). Master's degrees are available except for Medicine and Law. 

Remember that before entering the registration form you must have the grades passed for the first, second and third year of high school. If you have not graduated yet, you must register the note of the first quarter of the third year of high school. 

Some of the requirements and procedures necessary for the application will be detailed below. 

In the first place, applicants must enter the following link on the page of the University of Azuay: https://www.uazuay.edu.ec/

On the next page you have to click on the "OPEN REGISTRATION" section. 

Once you are in the admissions section, you must go to “admission process”.

When you are on the admission process page, you will find two options: "Admission process for all majors" this section applies to all majors except Medicine and "Admission process for Medicine major", in this section section can apply those interested in the previously mentioned career. Now the steps for the "Admission process for all races". You can access the page through the following link: https://admisiones.uazuay.edu.ec/admision/carreras

1. Sign up: From Monday, May 01, 2023.
2. Make your payment: You must make a payment of $25,00 that covers the entire admission process. 
3. Receive your institutional mail: The University will assign you an institutional email account after 48 hours. 
4. Receive the date of the interview via email: Starting in June you will receive instructions for the interview.
5. Reception process and knowledge of careers: This will take place between July 17 and 28. The final results will be announced on August 04 and the acceptance of the quota can be done through the link sent to your institutional email. 
6. Enroll: Enrollment begins in the month of August, after you have received the "Acceptance of quota" notification. 
7. Scholarships: UDA students can apply for scholarships for different reasons, for more information you can consult the "SCHOLARSHIPS" section. 
8. Start of academic activities: The start of classes for the first cycle will be in September. If you wish to take the knowledge validation exam (English) you must do so before starting classes. 

Below are the steps for the "Admission process for the Medicine degree". You can access the page through the following link: https://admisiones.uazuay.edu.ec/admision/carreras-medicina

1. Sign up: From Monday May 01 to June 23.
2. Make your payment: You must make a payment of $25,00 that covers the entire admission process. 
3. Receive your institutional mail:  The University will assign you an institutional email account after 48 hours. By mail you will receive the study guide to take the general skills exam and more notifications. 
4. General skills test: You will receive the notification to take the exam in your institutional mail on June 27 and the exam will be on July 01. Only 300 applicants with the highest average between school grades and the general skills exam will access the pre-university who will be notified on July 07. 
5. Pre-university course: Payment to the pre-university must be made until July 12. And the course lasts 2 weeks, from Monday 17 to 28 July. 
6. Final admission exam and interviews: The exam date is Tuesday, August 01. In the same way, the results and the interview process will be notified until August 02. The interviews will take place on August 03 and the notification for admitted students will be until August 06. Notifications of the process will be by institutional mail. 
7. Enroll: Enrollment begins during the month of August, after you have received the "Acceptance of quota" notification.
