Azuay

The Center for Integral Stimulation and Psychotherapeutic Support (CEIAP) was on April 21 at the Hernán Malo Library of the University of Azuay where an event was held to celebrate reading day. Director Jaimmy Alexandra Vélez Espinoza highlighted the importance of instilling the habit of reading in children.

-The event that is taking place is for April 23, International Book Day, together with the Ministry of Education we always seek to ensure children's interest in reading. This initiative is encouraged in all education centers, as we are an initial education center we celebrate it on the 21st, because the 23rd is the weekend. The intention of celebrating this day with the theme "the reading party" is to encourage the little ones to enjoy reading to generate in them creativity, imagination, concentration and a taste for the literary theme- commented Vélez Espinoza

During the event, the children had the opportunity to participate in group reading activities. The activity was a complete success and the CEIAP children were enthusiastic about continuing to discover the world of literature. With this type of initiative, the aim is to promote the habit of reading in society, starting with the youngest.
