The night of ideas: "Be alive"

"The night of ideas" initiative of the French Alliance that brings together different exponents, researchers, artists, intellectuals in the same space in which they present their different ideas and innovative projects to the public, took place last Thursday.

The event was attended by different local universities such as the University of Cuenca, the Salesian Polytechnic University and the University of Azuay, which presented six projects: Sustainable Housing, Chocolates, Aquamarine Soaps, A U by bike, Electronic Pen and Air quality

Joaquín López, a research professor at the University of Azuay, is in charge of the A la U project by bike: “What our project does is investigate how our university community is moving to solve the mobility problem that is critical in our city".

López tells us that “A la U enicycling” is a project that has made four activations and a mobility fair to date. In addition, incentives related to the use of bicycles have been delivered.
