The second edition of the UDA Law Review is published

On January 16, in the Multiple Use Room of the University of Azuay, the presentation of the second edition of the academic legal magazine “UDA Law Review”, created by the Faculty of Legal Sciences, took place.

The UDA Law Review was born as a student initiative to create an academic space for the publication of student articles, with issues of relevance for legal opinion and research.

The articles presented are reviewed by the Academic Committee and the Editorial Committee in which professors of the career also participate.

The Rector, Francisco Salgado, welcomed those present and stressed the importance of the laws being renewed according to the current context and technological development.

He also congratulated the young law students and motivated them to continue developing their research capabilities to share their findings with the community:

“We are together to celebrate the achievements of young people because we have hope in the future. Without a doubt, through the practice of their profession in the future, they will make this world a much better place. ”

Then, José Chalco Quezada, Dean of the Faculty of Legal Sciences, explained that the creation of the magazine gives young people an ideal space to develop skills and work together with teachers. Also, it is a contribution to the Ecuadorian legal community and works as an excellent support tool for legal practices.

"His vision is to become a reference in his area at local, national and international level, always seeking excellence through order, planning and relevant collaboration, without censoring ideas," said the Dean.

Finally, Caridad Sánchez, editor in chief of the second edition of UDA LAW Review, extended a special thanks to all who were part of the creation of the new edition, both to the University authorities, as well as to the Academic Committee, family and friends.
