Possession of the new members of the University Council

After the elections held last Friday, October 18, this Tuesday, the 23rd, the new University Co-Government took office, made up of the University Council, the Faculty Councils and the General Council of Postgraduate Programs. The council representatives received the act of possession in the presence of the Rector, the Vice-Rector for Research, the General Secretary and the current University Council. Also present at the session was Juan Morales, President of the Electoral Council.

In this way, the University Council for the period 2019 - 2022 was made up of Raffaella Ansaloni, Juan Carlos Malo, Cecilia Ugalde, Felipe Andrade, Gabriela Duque, Antonio Martínez, Carla Hermida, Eugenio Cabrera and Miriann Mora. And the alternates Mónica Martínez, Omar Delgado, Natalia Rincón, Iván Coronel, María José González, Guillermo Ochoa, Silvia Zeas, Paúl Crespo and Araceli Palta.

Fabián Jaramillo was possessed as a worker representative before the Council and Jenny Ríos, as his deputy.

The General Postgraduate Council was formed by Narcisa Ullauri and Matías Abad as representatives of professors, and Julia Avecillas and Jonnatan Avilés as alternates. As representatives of workers to the General Postgraduate Council, Mayra Pintado, and Marlon Guzmán as their alternate.

They were possessed as representatives of the workers to the Council of the Faculty of Philosophy, Juanita Toral as head and Ximena Tapia as substitute. In the same way, of Science and Technology, Monica Tinoco as headline and Pablo Torres as substitute. Of Medicine, Priscilla Nivicela as holder and Luis Arévalo as substitute. Of Design, Architecture and Art, Tania Méndez as headline and Cecilia Bermeo as substitute.

For representatives of the professors to the Faculty Council they took possession: of the Faculty of Sciences of the Administration, like first main vowel, Bladimir Proaño; first alternate member, Pablo Pintado; second main vocal, María Isabel Arteaga; second alternate member, Patricia Ortega; third lead vocal, Lenin Erazo; third alternate member, Jaime Calle.

From the Faculty of Design, Architecture and Art as the first main vocal, Manuela Cordero, and Ruth Galindo as her alternate; second main vocal, Fabián Cordero and Alejandro Vanegas as his substitute; Third lead vocal, Ana Patricia Rodas and Verónica Heras as her alternate.

In Medicine, doctors James Pilco, Mónica del Carmen Juma and Pedro José González were possessed as principal teaching representatives, and doctors Enrique Jerves, Katherina Estévez and Juan Felipe Vintimilla, as substitute teaching representatives.
