The June 6 School of Communication held a press conference to report on the sixteenth edition of its flagship event, the Tinta Tinto, this year with the slogan "Time Machine", which will be held on 19, 20 and 21 days of June.

The inaugural words were given by Ramiro Laso, Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy, who expressed the importance of Tinta Tinto, year after year, for the Faculty and thanked all those who made the meeting possible.

Then, Natalia Rincon, organizer of the event, made a historical recount of the latest Tinta Tinto, and motivated the students to participate in this edition. In addition, he presented the two new divisions that are added this year to the contest, since for the first time students of college and advertising agencies will be able to participate.

The Coordinator of the School of Communication, Matías Zibell, spoke about the origin of the name that has been given to this edition. "The idea of ​​the Time Machine has two intentions. The first is to celebrate the 30 years celebrated by the School of Communication, the second is an incentive to attract students to the race. "

Subsequently, Ariana Pazmiño and David Ávila, president and vice president of this edition of Tinta Tinto, presented the exhibitors who will come to the meeting. Among the lecturers and workshop participants are María Fernanda Ampuero, an Ecuadorian writer; Mario Riorda, political communicator; Ezequiel Mandelbaum, copywriter co-creator of the page “La Gente Anda Diciendo”, among others.

In addition, they announced the categories and subcategories of the contest that opens in this edition.

"The main objective of this event is to stimulate students' interest in different areas of communication, allowing students to live with successful professionals in the various branches of this broad field of knowledge," said Pazmiño.
