Launch of Radio UDA programming

The May 17 was held in the Multiple Use Room, the launch of the UDA Radio programming in charge of the fourth cycle of the Social Communication and Advertising period 2019 - 2020.

"The radio could somehow start what we call the virtual world because the virtual is not what is related to computers, smartphones or the satellites, the virtual is what is produced in the mind of the human being, in such a way that the radio has that magic exactly, from wherever we are we can transport ourselves to another time and place, "said Francisco Salgado, Rector of the University.

This period will feature 15 proposals that will be broadcast in the afternoon from Monday to Friday through Radio UDA and the different web platforms of each project.

The themes that will handle the different programs vary between debate spaces, news, music, new ventures, current affairs, mystery, among others.

Among the projects presented are "The musical balcony", "Here between us", "Open bar", "Report", "Frequency unknown", "Stereo Note", "Guafle cultural", "The resistance", "Your voice , your power "," UDA Sounds "," Radio Cuy "," Sorry, I have no idea "," Head "," Bright Minds ", and" Suspended to the Air ".

"Here there is a different work to the rest of educational institutions, there is an experiential work, there is a job where students can experience things that, in the future, when they become communicators or broadcasters, they will live it", said Galo Crespo , director of AER (Asociación Ecuatoriana de Radiodifusión).

In addition, the web page of the station will be launched in the coming days.

"Thanks to the collaboration of TICS from the university we have achieved it, the Radio UDA website is almost ready and until Monday or Tuesday it will be on the air. Here we will have both new and old programs, they are like 600 programs that are already uploaded and can be downloaded, "said Hugo Guillermo, director of Radio UDA.
