Presentation of the book on psychomotor skills of children with ASD

The December 14 in the multipurpose room of the UDA was held the presentation of the book "Psychomotor to build the body self of children with ASD."

After the welcome given by the Rector, Francisco Salgado, who expressed himself in favor of more works of this nature being published at the University, María Elena González, founder of the Institute of Special Education of Puyo, took the floor:

"It is a work that motivates and transforms the reader. It is at the beginning of a new way of understanding children with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), "González said, adding:

"The experience one has in front of an autistic child is, in fact, to be in the presence of a powerful evolutionary arrest that baffles and causes impotence and frustration when they do not possess the knowledge and methods for their adequate attention. Hence the validity of this book, which responds to a rigorous scientific investigation of the subject and the different aspects it addresses ".

The book was born as a research project of the degree thesis of the authors Margarita Proaño, Pamela del Rocio Alvarez, Maria Lopez Cabrera and Lisbeth Palacios Peña.
