Photo exhibition about diabetes opens at the House of Service

The December 12 in the Service House of the University of Azuay inaugurated the exhibition of photographs of the contest "Diabetes concerns us all", within the framework of the project linking the University of Azuay and the House of Diabetes.

Ana María Durán, Liaison Coordinator of the Faculty of Philosophy, was the first speaker and expressed her desire that the show "change the perception we have of diabetes as a disease that is suffered, to think of it as a pathology with which He can live".

Then Fernanda Sánchez, representative of the House of Diabetes, took the floor, who recalled that this pathology can affect us all and indicated that the exhibition of the photographs will be itinerant and will travel next year throughout the country.

One of the jurors of the contest, the design professor of the University of Azuay Paul Carrion, was in charge of reading the names of the three winners of the contest, who became creditors of a diploma and a check for 170 dollars, and of the special mention.

Finally, Narcisa Ullauri, Director of the Department of Linking of the UDA, handed out the diplomas to all those who participated in the call.
