Workshop on computer techniques at the UDA

On October 15 at the University of Azuay, the first workshop on Computer Techniques for Financial Risk Management began, from Monday to Thursday, lasting three hours a day.

The workshop is divided into four parts, on the first day there was an introduction to the basic concepts of statistics, theories of statistics, descriptive statistics, inference statistics, regressions and probability distribution analysis.

In the remaining three days he turned around methodological tools, with practical exercises.

Luis Pinos, in charge of providing the workshop, is a postgraduate teacher in the area of ​​Credit Risk and an undergraduate teacher in the area of ​​Risk Management and Actuarial Calculation of the Economics career at the University of Azuay.

“The workshop was basically focused for the students of the Master of Comprehensive Administration and Financial Risk Management, and for their teachers. But the possibility was opened for undergraduate students who have the statistical bases to come, ”said Pinos.

"Thanks to Ximena Abril, Director of the Master, and to the UDA Liaison Department, the workshop was opened, since Postgraduates went to Continuing Education to offer the course," said Pinos.
