A postage stamp is an act of sovereignty: they relate legends, traditions, culture of the people, national and international history, commemorations, art events, sports. Stamps become living windows of knowledge, their content being a perennial testimonial reflection of the roots of each country; therefore, it is an element of identity, identifying and differentiating between countries.

The postage stamp not only represents a postage rate, but is part of the unique and unrepeatable material heritage of each country, which is why it is a treasured collection element for philatelists. At present, some copies of postage stamps and postmarks are in receipt and conservation of the Postal Archive and are part of the heritage and wealth of Correos del Ecuador.

The event was closed with the invitation to the philatelic exhibition that was in the same facilities.
