UDA hosts musical show

The May 24 the Department of University Welfare of the University of Azuay (MiUDA), with the support of the Student Federation (UDAFE), made a musical show that brought together students, teachers and administrative staff of the institution.

The event took place from three in the afternoon in the General Auditorium of the University.

The initiative emerged as part of the Uda Activa project, which seeks to integrate the university community through several lines of action such as workshops, playful meetings or in this case a talent show.

"This is the first time that the institution has invited members of the University to participate in an event of this type, which has no relation to the academic part, but it was observed that there are a lot of people who are very good at music, especially for singing, so we thought it was an accurate opportunity to do this, "said Gabriela Machado, Educational Psychologist of the MiUDA Department.

The event featured a total of 32 contestants, including 7 soloists and 9 bands.

It is expected that the UDA Activa project can continue to be executed in the next cycles, added Machado.
