New training in tax issues for UDA students

From the 23 Monday in April to the 21 in May, the third training on accounting, tax, social security and labor issues is given to the students of the Higher Accounting Career.

The training is part of an agreement between the University of Azuay and the Internal Revenue Service (SRI) for the conformation of the Accounting and Fiscal Support Center (NAF).

After the 40 hours training course, students must take a knowledge assessment test to be able to do pre-professional internships at the Community Service House.

The first group began to give advice to the 8 in January and during the first quarter of the 2018, attention has been given to 456 people.

Gabriela Duque, school coordinator, believes that these "have been important months because the most important tax declarations of the year are made."

The School of Superior Accounting is managing other agreements to serve priority groups. In addition, they are processing an agreement with the Ministry of Industries and Productivity (MIPRO) to advise small craftsmen, producers and traders.
