UDA visits Messengers of Peace
The 6 in April a delegation of students from the career of Production Engineering and Operations traveled to Santa Isabel together with authorities of the University to sign a framework agreement of inter-institutional cooperation between the Messengers of Peace Foundation and the UDA.
The objective of this agreement is to coordinate joint actions that contribute to the strengthening of the human talent of the staff of the University of Azuay as well as the Foundation, from internships, pre-professional practices, research projects and university extension, continuing education and activities several that propitiate processes of inter-institutional linkage.
The project, which is currently being executed, is carried out every Friday; the students of Production Engineering and Operations travel to help in the process of production of soaps and personal and household cleaning products that are carried out in the Foundation.
Father José Luis Sánchez Aguilera, President of Messengers of Peace, after the signing of the agreement, toured the facilities of the Foundation where the soap factory and the store where the products already made are sold.
Pleasant moments were shared with the Foundation's children, authorities, project coordinators and students.
"When we drink from the glass of those who are at our side, looking into their eyes, we can achieve many things and understand who we are," said the Rector of the UDA, Francisco Salgado.
