Toussaint also mentioned a topic not very well known outside of Haiti, which is the Haitian National Carnival, the largest national festival in the country.

“Haiti is a country of colors and parties. Despite the natural catastrophes that have damaged us, it is the nation where there is most happiness and where there is most joy. The Haitian population is 95% Afro-descendant, the rest mestizo and white, so a union is important. Our motto is unity is strength ”, explained Toussaint.

At the end of the conference, Cecilia Ugalde, Director of the Department of International Relations of the UDA, expressed her gratitude to the exhibitor, handing him a certificate presented by the entire University and expressing her desire that this type of conference be repeated in the near future.
