IReNe arrived to connect the UDA with the world

The University of Azuay presented Wednesday 28 of March to IReNe before the university community.

IReNe (International Research Network) It is a network created to connect UDA academics with their peers from different latitudes.

Through this network it will be possible to carry out research in conjunction with professionals from any part of the world to promote the search of knowledge in all academic fields.

Francisco Salgado, Rector of the University of Azuay, stressed the importance of IReNe for the University because "it is essential that a community is in contact with the world."

In addition, he said that this type of platform helps to enhance knowledge and benefits the communication of the most important discoveries.

The creators of IReNe -María Cecilia Vintimilla, Carla Salgado and Freek Everaet- explained to the audience the management of the website.

They also stressed that the involvement and active participation of teachers in the project is necessary.

IReNe is available in Spanish, English, German, French and Portuguese to facilitate connections with international professionals.
