Bolsa de Proyectos promotes social development

The December 4 took place at the Universidad del Azuay the "Bolsa de Proyectos" fair held by students of the seventh cycle of the Social Communication career, as part of the Chair Project Planning dictated by Caroline Ávila.

The objective of the Projects Exchange is to present proposals made by students throughout the cycle, with social development initiatives that benefit both the university community and the city of Cuenca.

During the day, each group presented its projects to the public - made up of students from all the UDA's careers, professors and administrative staff - with the intention that in the end each viewer could grant a vote.

Likewise, there was a qualified jury made up of professors and experts in development and social management and culture, who evaluated each project and its sustainability.

The jury granted a seed capital (fictitious) to start the project to two initiatives of their choice.

The group of students that obtained the largest amount of funds was the winner of the Projects Exchange and in the same way, recognition was given to the initiative most voted by the public.

Among the works presented was proposed from the creation of virtual platforms to promote ventures of local producers and rural areas of the city; communication plans for the University; film forums; campaigns to promote the use of bicycles and training for transporters in Cuenca.
