CONDITIONS FOR COMPETITIONS SCHOOL OF MEDICINE

Category: Auxiliary Holder Dedication: Part Time

Applicants must submit the following documents:

 

to. Application on university paper addressed to Mr. Francisco Salgado, Rector of the University of Azuay and assembled by the applicant. In addition, the contest for which it is nominated will be indicated, the attached documents will be detailed and will indicate address, telephone numbers and email for notifications.

b. Original or certified copy of the third level professional degree registered in the SENESCYT and required in the call.

c. Original or certified copy of the Fourth Level qualifying title, registered in the SENESCYT required for the contest.

d. Notarized copy of the citizenship card or passport and voting certificate.

and. Resume with notarized supporting documentation that accredits the academic training and experience, research, publications and the rest required in the Regulation of Selection of academic staff of the University of Azuay and in the Regulation of Career and Escalafón of the Professor and researcher of the Higher Education System in force. (The University of Azuay reserves the right to verify the authenticity of the documents presented by the applicants.)

 

PHASES OF THE CONTEST.

The contest will have two phases: one of suitability and merits; and another opposition. The merits will be qualified on 30 points and the opposition will be qualified on 70 points.

 

1 Suitability and merits phase:
The attached documents must be presented organized in accordance with article 13 of the Regulation of selection of academic staff of the University of Azuay.

For qualification of suitability: The constant academic requirements in the call:

• Title of Third Level according to the requirement of the call.
• Title of Fourth Level according to the requirement of the call.
• Certificates that certify compliance with the minimum required experience time. Failure to comply with one of these requirements disqualifies the applicant automatically.

Only applicants who have been qualified as suitable will go on to the merit qualification stage.

For qualification of merits:

Fourth level diplomas recognized by the SENESCYT: Doctorate (PhD); Master's degree; Other professional titles at the end of the career. When the same studies have given rise to more than one title, only the one that gives the highest score will be graded.

Publications made in the last five years: Books or book chapter with peer review, relevant works, articles in indexed journals; and, presentations in congresses or conferences.

Distinctions: Preserves to the university or professional student merit, Honorato Vázquez award; qualification of the university degree certificates with outstanding; recommendation of publication of research work in degree certificates.

Update in the last five years: Improvement courses in the field of knowledge.

 

2 Opposition Phase: The opposition tests will be:

1. a) Written test

2. b) Class simulation and / or research presentation on the required field of knowledge and nature of the call.

c) Exhibition of the contestant's academic career

Of the written test: It will evaluate the level of knowledge of the participants in the area of ​​knowledge of the call, it will be written; and, it will be rated over thirty points. The duration will be determined by the court.
Of the simulation of class and / or exhibition of investigation on the field of knowledge: It will allow to evaluate the performance of the contestant as teacher and researcher. The rating will be about thirty points. It will have a maximum duration of two hours. Due to the nature of this test, the results of the test can not be challenged.

Of the Exposition of the academic trajectory of the contestant: It will be held before the Academic Trajectory Evaluation Commission and will evaluate the applicants according to their trajectory dedicated to the academy, science, education, professional and citizen activity; It will be done orally and will have a value of 10 points with a maximum duration of two hours. Due to the nature of this test, the results of the test can not be challenged.

 

DETERMINATION OF THE TRIUMPHANT IN THE CONTEST.

A winner will be declared who obtains the highest score in both phases. To be declared a winner, at least 75 points will have to be obtained. If there is only one participant that meets the requirements and minimum points indicated, it will be declared the winner.
