What happens in Cuenca? The nights of "impermanence" continue

The second edition of "Noches de Impermanencia", an event organized by the Cuenca Biennial, was held last Thursday, January 12 with the aim of facilitating access to these spaces by providing attendees with accessible transportation and schedules.

The places that opened their doors were three: the Museum of Medicine, the Benigno Malo School and the Museum of Concepts.

Approximately more than 60 people toured these spaces and enjoyed a night full of art.

In total 46 national and international artists participated.

One of them, the Cuenca artist Janneth Méndez presented her work made from organic materials extracted from the human body in order to demonstrate the ephemerality and the passage of time.

"Noches de Impermanencia" will continue to be held every Thursday until the end of the biennial, tickets will be available at the Casa Bienal (Bolívar 13-89 and Estévez de Toral) from 15:30 p.m. to 18:30 p.m. and at the participating venues from 18:00 on the day of the event.
