Educational project joins the Biennial and the UDA for two years

Promoting cultural activities between the academy and public institutions is one of the objectives of the agreement that was agreed between the University of Azuay and the Cuenca Biennial Foundation.

 

According to Katya Cazar, director of the Biennial, an educational project was needed to better communicate what the institution does, mainly with the organization and distribution of the content of the international Biennial. 

 

An agreement had already been signed with the University of Cuenca. On this occasion, it was discussed with the University of Azuay, since within the purposes is the sharing of the information of the Biennial among the students and to establish research.

 

Activities

 

¨There is the possibility of working in academic activities and the strengthening of institutional capacities and generating a link with Cuenca's society that is very important, ¨ said Cazar.

 

Although for the moment the relationship between one and the other will be based on digital means, due to the limitations imposed by the pandemic, it is expected that in the near future the development of activities between both institutions will be promoted to bring the public closer to the agenda. that the Biennial has, both in the city and abroad.

 

With the agreement, the Biennial and the University of Azuay will work for two years.
