Occupational field


The functions of the tourism professional are aimed at managing the integral tourist resources in order to enhance the offer and boost the market, for which it will be able to:

Integrate multi and interdisciplinary teams in tourism consulting, to identify the tension present in the territory, optimizing both natural and cultural resources, for the correct management of responsible tourism.

Practice the profession in public agencies, sectional, community organizations and NGOs related to tourism, prioritizing local development with identity.

Formulate tourism projects in different environments, especially those aimed at emerging markets. The link with vulnerable sectors of society makes tourism a factor of cultural rapprochement, recognizing differences as a articulating axis of national identity.

Manage companies in the tourism sector, with a multidimensional vision, sustainable and capable of solving training needs in the tourism field.
