Likewise, they will be able to perform in different public functions with emphasis on managerial, administrative and rights protection positions. They will be able to carry out academic and research activities in the area of law and social sciences.
Occupational field
The lawyer of the University of Azuay will have the capacity and sufficient competences to develop optimally within the exercise of the profession, both before the jurisdictional bodies, with skills to sponsor cases before the courts of justice; as well as in alternative dispute resolution entities and any other administrative process.
With these competencies, graduates of the University of Azuay will be able to function in the public, private and community sectors.
In the public sector, they may be linked to the functions of the State, the Decentralized Autonomous Governments, Public Companies and those public institutions created by law.
From a professional perspective, in addition to the free exercise of the profession, the lawyers of the University of Azuay will be able to link with the business and corporate sectors, non-profit foundations and non-governmental organizations.
Our professionals, as they have already shown, have sufficient skills to insert themselves into international relations, occupying positions of diplomatic and consular representation, and even representation before international organizations.
