Alejandro Vazquez Estrada
Anthropologist, Doctor in Multiculturalism, Social Intervention and Inequality from the Pablo de Olavide University. He has more than ten years as a member of the CONACYT National Researchers System (level I). Winner of first place in the Alejandrina Prize in the young researcher category. He has various publications in magazines, books and electronic media on topics related to indigenous populations, culture-nature, heritage, identity and memory, tourism and gentrification and dilemmas of the city and the urban.
His latest books include “Cosmos y praxis. Knowledge and learning of the trades in the city of Querétaro", published in the summer of 2023, and "Looking inward: reflections and stories about field work in anthropology", published in 2021. Currently, he is responsible for the Center for Interdisciplinary Research and Head of the Research and Graduate Division of the Faculty of Philosophy at the Autonomous University of Querétaro.
