The university headquarters has five departments: the Legal Office, the Accounting and Tax Support Center (NAF), the Business Observatory, the Department of Equity and Gender and the Architecture and Urban Planning Consultancy.
The House of Service to Society of the University of Azuay, with heritage construction and beautiful gardens, is the physical and symbolic space of our active presence in the city, the community, the region and the country. In this place, we reaffirm our firm commitment to scientific, academic, cultural and social advancement, as well as attention to the most vulnerable sectors of our society.
Each of these areas plays a critical role in realizing our mission to serve the community and promote more inclusive and equitable development.
Legal Office
The Free Legal Clinic of the University of Azuay is a valuable resource for the community. We offer free legal advice and sponsorship, supported by a Mediation Center specialized in resolving disputes in negotiable areas. Our commitment is to provide high-quality legal advice with a warm and ethical approach, guaranteeing total transparency in our services.

NAF
The Accounting and Fiscal Support Center (NAF) seeks to advise and train citizens of the province in areas such as accounting, taxation, labor laws and social security. Our commitment goes beyond offering tax services; We also provide guidance on labor and social security issues, ensuring comprehensive support to our beneficiaries.

Business Observatory
The Business Observatory is a unique convergence space, where higher education joins with the business world and the community. We seek to promote the analysis and improvement of business management in organizations in the city of Cuenca. We also have a commitment to society in general by contributing to the design and adjustment of public policies. We are a point of consultation and open debate for students, teachers and the community as a whole, working together for a more prosperous and sustainable future.

Architecture and Urban Planning Consultant
The Architecture and Urban Planning Consultant of the University of Azuay is a space that promotes interaction between academia, research and society. We work in collaboration with various actors, including civil society, the government and international organizations. Our team, made up of teachers, researchers and students from the School of Architecture, together with a multidisciplinary support team, trains us to address projects that emphasize sustainability in urban aspects, design, construction, communication and practical theory.
