Scheduled activities

The following activities will be developed, among others:

- Mini conferences on specific topics of the course.

- Individual and research work, which must be supported by the participants in the plenary sessions.

- Work in cooperative learning groups: the results will be presented to colleagues during the course.

- Jobs in virtual learning environments

IMPORTANT: At the end of the course, each of the teachers will have built their teaching portfolio (which can be physical or digital), which will collect the evidence of the individual and collective production of the course.

Methodology

The course will be developed in a virtual modality (36 hours), and face-to-face (24 hours), with a duration of 60 hours. During this time the various activities that will allow learning in the management of the different resources of the platform will be regulated.

It will be developed around a central project in which the teacher will be assigned a test course in the EVA, so that there he starts the assembly of his course and practices with each one of the resources that we will be reviewing.

There will be face-to-face meetings, where the basic concepts of the platform will be reviewed, the remaining hours must be addressed independently during the week following the contact hours, during this time the teacher must finish the assembly of the course on the platform. In this independent work the teacher must have autonomy with knowledge and discipline at work.

To approach the study of each module, we must follow the following order:

- Review the module's learning guide.

- Review the study material of the module.

- Review the complementary material.

- Perform the learning activity.

OBSERVATION: If the teacher requires it, they can request a meeting with the course tutors to learn how to configure the activities that will be part of their EVA, which were not reviewed in the classroom.

COMMUNICATION:

The communication will be asynchronous through:

Forum of difficulties, concerns: where you can manifest the difficulties, concerns and suggestions regarding the operation of the course.

News forum: through which the teachers of the course will send information about its development

Inbox: it is a similar service to the electronic mail that is used being within the environment of the EVA and that allows the communication between two interlocutors of the course and that, in addition, conserves all the history.

MONITORING AND EVALUATION

All the evaluation activities will be reviewed and qualified by the tutors. The certificate will be awarded to colleagues who obtain 70 points of the total of activities.

Any participant who obtains a score lower than the value of the activity will receive an orientation on how to improve it and will have to resend said activity, in the indicated times.

In each of the learning modules, a Guide will be presented that indicates what to do in the unit, the support materials with the explanations for the management of resources and self-assessment questionnaires on the topics discussed.

Evaluation criteria:

In this course, evaluation is conceived as a continuous and permanent process that will allow fair and equitable value judgments to be made; for this, the analysis of the activities and works carried out by the students will be considered. The percentage distribution will be as follows:

Weighting Activity

Individual work 30%

Group work 25%

Participation academic forum 10%

Final work 30%

Self-evaluation 5%

The qualification is done by teachers on a scale of 0 to 100 points and to pass it each student must obtain the grade of at least 70 / 100 (seventy out of a hundred), and minimal attendance at 80% of face-to-face meetings.

IMPORTANT: If the teacher does not approve the course, you must cancel the total cost of the course, including the subsidized values by the collaborating institutions (UDA, Asunción), the value will be: $ 180.
